Gitmo closure, a recruitment tool for Al-Qaeda?

An attorney representing several Al-Qaeda detainees says his clients would rather be incarcerated in Gitmo, where they are being held under 'Geneva Convention conditions', than in an Illinois 'supermax' security prison under near-lockdown conditions. - Source - Washington Examiner

Apparently, the President's decision to close down Gitmo is ticking off the detainees.

Hence, the question arises : Is Obama giving Al-Qaeda a new recruitment tool by shutting down Gitmo?
