Obama's Foreign Campaign Contributions, Did the FEC Block Investigations?

A reader of the Atlas Shrugs blog, Laura S., says that "legitimate complaints about over-the-limit contributions and non-US citizen contributions" coming in to the Obama campaign's coffers "are not being addressed or investigated by the FEC". She says "I would complain to the Federal Elections Commission, but recently an FEC auditor went public and complained that he had been stopped for investigating 'Obama For America' Contributions by his superiors". Hmmm... If the FEC is blocking investigations into Obama's campaign contributions, that's something we ought to know about. I only wish Pamela Geller, proprietor of the Atlas Shrug's blog, would fill us in a little more about that....

Apparently, the GOP is filing a fundraising complaint against Obama with the FEC. So I suppose the FEC has no choice but to comply right now. Then again, if those miscreants in the upper echelon of the FEC have been covering for Obama the entire time, what's to stop them now? Nothing, I suppose....
