Gallup: 71% Disapprove of Obama's handling of the Economy & the Budget Deficit

According to a new Gallup poll, released on Wednesday, 71% of Americans disaprove of the President's handling of the US economy.

An equal percentage of the population [71%] disaprove of the way the President has handled the budget deficit. 65% disaprove of his performance on job creation, 29% approve.

It should be noted, however, that when the President formally reintroduces his stimulus package, come September, his ratings no doubt will begin to skyrocket. For although former President Bill Clinton, several months ago, joked that the word 'stimulus' had become an unacceptable word - "we're not supposed to use that word anymore", he said - the aforementioned concept is still popular in the White House and the mainstream media.

Nevertheless, the word "stimulus" has now been discarded in favor of the new moniker, "Job Creation", in deference to the American people who apparently find the old moniker quite repulsive....
