President Obama said Wednesday that his views on same-sex marriage have evolved. "I've been going through an evolution on this issue, he said, adding that he now believes same sex marriage should indeed be defined as marriage.
However, truth be told, Obama hasn't evolved on this issue at all, but rather he has flip-flopped back and forth over the years on gay marriage in order to satisfy the political needs of the moment. His current political situation has left him with little choice but to support an issue he once described [when faced with a different political climate and situation] as running contrary to his religious and traditional beliefs.
