Earlier today, I cited a Washington Post article from 2001, entitled, CIA Weighs 'Targeted Killing' Missions, which expounds on the Bush administration's directive to the CIA to capture/kill Al Qaeda leaders.
I noted that although the link had been active on Monday, it was no longer working and that apparently, it had been scrubbed by the Washington Post.
"If the link suddenly becomes active," I wrote, "that means the "scrubbers" are repentant and have decided to return the goods to their rightful place."
Well, guess what?
The "scrubbers" have repented! And, hopefully, they'll remain repentant....
Will Panetta and Company repent too?
I doubt it.....
