On the heels of the U.S. special forces operation that ended in the death of Osama bin Laden, Republican lawmakers are calling on the Obama administration to restart the enhanced interrogation program that helped track Bin Laden, and to end the Justice Department's witch hunt of CIA employees who carried out the successful program, the AP reported on Wednesday.
"You can't have it both ways," Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich. chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, told Fox News. "You can't have the attorney general prosecuting CIA interrogators" who facilitated the tracking of Bin Laden. "It just doesn't make any sense to me."
But apparently, it does make sense to: Eric Holder, the President, his core base, the 2012 camapign, and to Al Qaeda......
Obama, however, may need to change that political thought process right now, because, rather than bolster his 2012 campaign, it may actually have the opposite effect.....
